I realized this shipped empty, so the first thing I did was to fill it with butane. When I tested it, it wouldn't light right away, and I had to adjust the control up to get it to fire up. The next day, it wouldn't light at all and I realized it was empty. I need a refund or replacement, because this isn't worth the money I paid.
It works, but I’m not 100% convinced yet. Sometimes takes 3-4 clicks for it to light. It might be standard practice for a lighter like this, but note that it does not come filled; you have to purchase butane and fill it yourself. I could not find any instructions for this brand on their website or online, so looked up a how-to-fill-a-butane-torch video on YouTube.
This jet torch is just right! I like that you can adjust the flame low enough, so when you burn the ends of the paracord it's nice n smooth.
